LogisVert document requirements: what you need to know
Jul 13, 2026 · By DossierVert
LogisVert, Hydro-Québec's residential energy-efficiency program, covers seven distinct measures: roof insulation and weatherstripping, induction cooktops, heat-pump dryers, air-source heat pumps, ground-source heat pump replacement, efficient pool pumps, and solar panels. Each has its own eligibility criteria and its own document checklist — which is exactly why DossierVert treats every measure as its own case file rather than a generic checkbox.
The most commonly forgotten rule: you have nine months from the date the measure was installed to submit your application. If you're bundling several measures into one application, the deadline is calculated from the first measure installed. A late submission is refused outright — the guide provides no exceptions.
The second common pitfall: name matching. The first and last name on the invoice must match the proof of ownership (for an owner) or the application itself (for a tenant). An invoice under a spouse's name while the proof of ownership is under the other's, for instance, can be enough to get a file rejected — check this match before submitting, not after.
A question we hear often: does every measure need a photo? No. Roof insulation and weatherstripping require no photo at all — the proof rests entirely on the invoice, which must state the new thermal resistance achieved (RSI 8.8 / R-50 minimum, across 100% of the roof surface). By contrast, the induction cooktop, heat-pump dryer, heat pump, and pool pump all require a clear photo of the installed appliance or its nameplate.
Another detail that often surprises clients: for the induction cooktop and heat-pump dryer specifically, tenants are eligible and no proof of ownership is required for those two measures. That's an exception to the other measures, where proof of ownership (a municipal tax bill or the first page of the deed of sale) is almost always required.
Once the complete application is submitted online at logisvert.ca — never by email or mail, those channels aren't processed — expect 10 to 12 weeks of processing. Hydro-Québec generally notifies you within 20 business days if your file is incomplete or ineligible, which leaves time to fix things before the nine-month deadline if you submitted early enough.
